Hi! Thank you for dropping by my website. I am a commercial, portrait and wedding photographer in Adelaide.

I started taking photos back in the days of film. I still remember the excitement and some hesitation about getting back prints and negatives from my local mini lab. These days digital allows a much faster workflow and a high "keeper rate" but the thrill of making images is still there for me. (I still shoot and develop my own B&W film for fun and art)

I outgrew my first point and shoot and bought my first Digital SLR while on a trip to Japan in 2007. I shot my first wedding in 2008 for a family friend and it was love at first sight. TA Media was created in 2009 and I spent almost every weekend photographing weddings for other photographers. For some months I had two weddings per weekend. It was a steep learning curve but a whole bunch of fun. I got to meet some fantastic couples many of whom I'm close friends with today! I started doing more and more of my own work, expanding out into portraiture and started working in commercial photography, working with food stylists making images for food packaging, designing lighting for shoots, visiting businesses to make great images to promote themselves on the web, shooting production stills for professional theatre as well as being commissioned for studio and location based portraiture photography. In 2012 I enrolled at the Centre For Creative Photography. I am currently studying (very part time) a Diploma of Photoimaging. Photography is a lifelong journey for me.
