Weddings.
Where it all began for me. I love weddings. Being a part of a couple's
special day is such a privilege for me. I love the energy that
surrounds the people involved in a wedding. There are so many emotions
during the day and documenting every moment is a joy. I'm not going to
lie, I'm exhausted at the end of the day!

Every couple is different, come from different backgrounds, different
experiences, different tastes. For that reason I have the philosophy
that I will approach each wedding in a completely different way from
the last. No two weddings are the same. Sure, there might be some
detail shots that appear in every album but unless you have a specific
request for a location to take your posed photos, I almost never use
the same location twice in exactly the same way. I don't like working
to a set and safe formula. It keeps the day fun for me and my couples.
It also means that couples have an album of photos that are unique
original works of art.
I like to work mostly in a "fly on the wall" photo journalistic style
for most of the day but if you want me to direct you, I can do that.
No cheesy poses or faces though. Unless you want that!
So I can work out what you want and don't want on the day, I will meet
with you a few times to get to know you and discuss your day. We have
a look at your initial schedule for your day and work out all the
relevant details about locations.
Close to the day we meet again and I will ask you to prepare a group
shot list and make final decisions about where we go off to for
locations. At this time we arrange final payment for your wedding
photography.
Within my packages I offer a variety of hours of coverage from just
ceremony and a few hours afterwards to a full day of coverage.
There
are a variety of album options from hardcover magazine style to mat
cut leather bound albums from Albums Australia. All images are
presented on a DVD and are print ready. All packages also include a
slideshow of your images to music.
I have a small pool of trusted, experienced and very hard working
second photographers to call on should you require them for that
"second pair of eyes". (it really does make a difference to the level
of coverage)
I look forward to hearing from you to discuss your special day!
